The “Tude” Factor
My infinitely better half Karla once joked about a person’s bad attitude and said that this person had a “tude”. So, I have also adopted this little abbreviation for “bad attitude”. Next time you receive bad service from someone with a “tude”, take in your “tude” checklist and see how many of these characteristics match the service representative:
- Bad mood
- Rude
- Bad tone of voice
- Not interested in helping you
- Chewing gum and no eye contact
- Visiting with other coworkers and ignoring customers
- On the phone with friends
- Busy blaming something on a coworker
