The “Tude” Factor

badattitudeMy infinitely better half Karla once joked about a person’s bad attitude and said that this person had a “tude”. So, I have also adopted this little abbreviation for “bad attitude”. Next time you receive bad service from someone with a “tude”, take in your “tude” checklist and see how many of these characteristics match the service representative:

  1. Bad mood
  2. Rude
  3. Bad tone of voice
  4. Not interested in helping you
  5. Chewing gum and no eye contact
  6. Visiting with other coworkers and ignoring customers
  7. On the phone with friends
  8. Busy blaming something on a coworker
